KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — The ringgit opened higher against the US dollar on the first trading day of Budget 2025 week, buoyed by optimism that the government will likely maintain fiscal discipline and keep the fiscal deficit below four per cent of Gross Domestic Product growth next year.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 27 — The ringgit opened on a strong note against the US dollar as well as several major Asian and non-Asian currencies today, while the greenback weakened after the United States (US) Federal Reserve (Fed) raised its key interest rates to a 22-year high.
